Developed the Swimlane Display feature for the BaghdadTeam/PlanMate repository, enabling visualization of project tasks grouped by state. The work involved designing backend logic in Java and Kotlin to fetch and organize tasks, as well as implementing an ASCII-based UI component for clear task representation. Addressed a runtime reactivity issue to ensure swimlanes update dynamically as tasks change, enhancing the feature’s responsiveness. Comprehensive unit tests were written for both the use case and UI layers, improving reliability and maintainability. The approach emphasized backend development, data modeling, and dependency injection, resulting in robust, well-tested functionality delivered within a focused development cycle.
