Worked on the LuccaSA/lucca-front repository with a focus on enhancing application reliability and stability. Addressed a critical bug in the FormFieldComponent by implementing defensive coding techniques using TypeScript and Angular, specifically introducing optional chaining to safely access the input element’s value length. This change prevented potential runtime errors caused by null or unavailable input values, thereby improving form usability and reducing the risk of crashes. The work emphasized adherence to code quality standards and robust front-end development practices, ensuring that future support tickets related to form errors would be minimized and the overall user experience would be more consistent.
