During April 2025, Sharath Bathula developed a new feature for the DroidWorksStudio/mLauncher repository, enabling users to temporarily exit mLauncher and access the device’s home launcher through a settings option. This functionality was implemented using Android intents and Kotlin, allowing seamless switching between launchers and ensuring users return to mLauncher when the Home button is pressed. The work focused on integrating the feature into the settings UI and managing the app lifecycle for smooth interoperability. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the feature demonstrated a solid grasp of Android development principles and intent-based navigation within mobile applications.
