Developed a TV Content Rotation feature with a Panel Dashboard for the Illini-Media-Company/central-backend repository, enabling automated rotation of video and news panels across display screens. Leveraging Flask for backend logic and HTML with JavaScript for the dashboard interface, the solution allows users to configure which panels are shown and set rotation intervals, streamlining content management and reducing manual updates. The implementation included backend support for dynamic panel selection, templating for display screens, and disciplined version control with targeted commits. This work improved maintainability and scalability, providing a foundation for dynamic content curation without introducing reported bugs during the development period.
