During August 2025, bblodfon focused on improving CI and build reliability for the mlr-org/mlr3 repository by consolidating dependency management within the R package development workflow. They removed a stale Remotes entry from the DESCRIPTION file and enabled the use of the latest development version of the mlr3misc package, allowing for more robust testing against upstream changes. This approach streamlined the development process and enhanced CI stability by ensuring dependencies remained current.
