Worked on improving the reliability of scheduled messaging in the openclaw/openclaw repository by addressing a critical issue with Telegram cron suppression. Focused on backend development using TypeScript, the solution involved normalizing the target.to field by removing topic suffixes, ensuring that suppression checks functioned correctly when cron jobs targeted Telegram forum topics. This change prevented unintended message firings and eliminated potential 403 errors, thereby reducing operational risk and enhancing bot stability. The work demonstrated strong skills in API integration and cron job management, with a well-documented and targeted fix that improved the maintainability and robustness of the messaging workflow.
