Ark Smith developed the Droppy Plugin for the runelite/plugin-hub repository, delivering real-time drop chance analytics and in-area feedback for players. Leveraging Java, Ark integrated AWS CloudWatch to enable live telemetry updates and designed robust API workflows for real-time data posting and fetching. The plugin’s UI was refined for clarity, with icon issues resolved and usability improved. To enhance data reliability, Ark migrated drop chance data to a local JSON source, reducing external dependencies. The work demonstrated depth in plugin development, UI design, and cloud telemetry integration, while aligning with collaborative practices and improving traceability through issue-based development workflows.
