During the month, contributed to the microsoft/vscode repository by focusing on front end stability and performance optimization using TypeScript. Addressed a critical memory leak in the Terminal WebGL renderer by ensuring that the renderer is properly disposed of when the terminal is closed, which prevents unnecessary memory consumption and reduces the risk of crashes during extended terminal sessions. This work did not introduce new features but instead prioritized reliability and efficiency for terminal workloads. The technical approach involved careful resource management within the TypeScript codebase, resulting in a steadier developer experience and improved performance metrics for users of the editor.
