During September 2025, Beath contributed to the hashicorp/boundary repository by enhancing Docker image reproducibility and license compliance. Beath delivered a feature that ensures IBM license documentation is included in built Docker images by updating the .dockerignore file, which previously excluded the necessary license docs directory. This change allows license documents to be embedded directly within the Docker image, supporting downstream auditing and customer trust. The work was implemented using Docker and Dockerfile, focusing on build process transparency and artifact integrity. Over the month, Beath maintained a low-regression profile, with no major bugs reported, reflecting careful and targeted engineering effort.
