During November 2024, Beka Davis focused on improving CI stability for the TileDB-Inc/TileDB repository by addressing a persistent issue in the nightly ASAN test suite. She identified and removed a failing C API subarray unit test that triggered segmentation faults due to an out-of-bounds memcpy, which rendered the test unachievable as written. By cleaning up this test, she preserved the core C++ API functionality and maintained API behavior, while enhancing the reliability of nightly builds. Her work leveraged skills in API testing, C++, and unit testing, resulting in faster feedback cycles and reduced maintenance time for the development team.
