During July 2025, contributed to the hackclub/site repository by developing the Homepage Summer Event Cards feature to promote seasonal events and enhance user engagement. Built four distinct event cards—Athena, Highway, SOM, and Shipwrecked—as modular React components using JSX and JavaScript, integrating them into the homepage with direct links for learning more or participating. Leveraged Next.js and Theme UI to ensure consistent styling and maintainable code structure. This work improved the homepage’s visual appeal and streamlined navigation to event actions, while establishing a scalable approach for future event-driven UI enhancements. No bug fixes were recorded during this period.
