In July 2025, Belle See developed the Homepage Summer Event Cards feature for the hackclub/site repository, focusing on enhancing event promotion and user engagement. She implemented four distinct event cards—Athena, Highway, SOM, and Shipwrecked—as modular React components using JSX and JavaScript, integrating them into the homepage with direct links for users to learn more or participate. Leveraging Next.js and Theme UI, Belle structured the components for scalability and maintainability, improving the homepage’s visual appeal and navigation flow. While the work was limited to a single feature, it demonstrated solid frontend engineering practices and thoughtful componentization within a production codebase.
