Worked on the zed-industries/zed and zed-industries/extensions repositories, focusing on reliability and maintainability in developer tooling. Addressed schema resolution issues in the LSP client by ensuring JSON and YAML schema URLs were converted to absolute paths before server submission, reducing validation errors and improving workflow stability. Upgraded the VRL extension to version 0.1.1, updating configuration files and aligning highlight queries to maintain compatibility with the latest VRL release. Leveraged Rust programming, configuration management, and git to deliver targeted improvements that reduced integration risk, enhanced validation reliability, and supported smoother development and continuous integration processes across both repositories.
