Ben developed a donor dashboard access control and authentication feature for the impress-org/givewp repository, focusing on ensuring that only authenticated users with donor status could access sensitive dashboard data. He implemented authentication gating and role-based access checks using PHP within the WordPress plugin framework, integrating these controls with existing donor status data. This work enhanced data privacy and improved the user experience by preventing unauthorized access to donor information. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, Ben’s contribution established a secure foundation for future donor-specific features, demonstrating skills in access control, plugin development, and WordPress development within a production environment.
