During September 2025, Ben Dixon developed the Timespinner Boss Randomization Options feature for the ArchipelagoMW/Archipelago repository. He implemented a flexible boss shuffle system in Python, introducing chaos and singularity shuffle modes as well as weighted manual boss mapping to enhance replayability and user customization. Leveraging skills in configuration management and game development, Ben aligned the new options with Archipelago’s mod architecture, enabling easier tuning of difficulty and variety for end users. This work addressed the need for greater player engagement and longer play sessions, laying a foundation for future gameplay extensions while maintaining a clean, maintainable codebase.
