Worked on enhancing the juspay/hyperswitch repository by adding support for recurring and installment payments through the ACI Connector, focusing on enabling reliable subscription-based payment flows. Addressed missing Card-on-File parameters to improve transaction success rates for recurring payments, which reduced payment failures and streamlined merchant onboarding. Utilized Rust for backend development, integrating APIs and implementing payment processing logic to handle new payment modes. Collaborated across payment flows to ensure end-to-end reliability, delivering tangible improvements in processing recurring transactions. The work demonstrated depth in backend engineering and payment systems, with a clear focus on business value and robust technical implementation.
