The work involved removing outdated references to deprecated Azure status metrics and establishing azure.*.count as the authoritative metric, ensuring consistent guidance throughout the documentation. Using Markdown and documentation best practices, updated and renamed the relevant metrics page to reflect these changes, which streamlines the monitoring setup process and enhances maintainability. This effort laid the foundation for future standardization of Azure metrics across Datadog documentation, supporting scalable and reliable Azure monitoring for both current and future users.
