The approach involved replacing hard-coded shell variables with environment variables within workflow scripts, which improved both readability and long-term maintainability. This change streamlined the continuous integration pipelines, making them more robust and easier for new contributors to understand and extend. The work primarily utilized Shell scripting and YAML for workflow definitions, leveraging skills in Continuous Integration and DevOps.
