Benoit developed extensible plugin and webhook capabilities for the hasura/graphql-engine repository, focusing on scalable plugin architecture and execution hooks to standardize plugin behavior across the engine. He implemented pre-request and pre-response hooks, enabling plugin-driven workflows and session propagation through engine layers. In addition, Benoit delivered pre-NDC request and response plugins for HTTP webhooks, allowing dynamic modification of requests and responses within the data connector pipeline. His work included comprehensive documentation updates in hasura/ddn-docs, covering new DDN features such as dynamic PostgreSQL connections with read/write splitting and load balancing. He primarily used Rust, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL throughout these projects.
