Developed a radiological progression evaluation function for the hartwigmedical/actin repository, focusing on backend development and data analysis using Kotlin. The solution introduced rule-based logic to assess disease progression following systemic treatment, automatically determining whether progression should be marked as PASS or undetermined based on recent treatment outcomes and cessation events. By aligning radiology assessments with treatment timelines, the function reduced the need for manual interpretation and streamlined decision-making in radiology reporting. The work addressed a specific business need for automated, consistent evaluation of progression, enhancing the reliability and efficiency of reporting workflows within the Actin project during the development period.
