During January 2025, Berendt contributed to the OpenStackweb/osf-website repository by delivering a visual enhancement to the project showcase. He implemented the OSISM Universe image as a new static asset within the Universe section, focusing on improving branding and user understanding of OSISM’s role in the ecosystem. The work involved integrating the image into the website’s asset pipeline using HTML and asset management best practices, ensuring compatibility and maintainability. Although the scope was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, the addition provided a tangible marketing asset that supports project discovery without introducing regressions or technical debt.
