Focused on correcting the assignment of the snapshot_num_partitions_override variable, this change prevented potential misconfiguration in snapshot partitioning and enhanced the stability of snapshot processing. The solution involved careful debugging and patch-level traceability, ensuring that the fix was both targeted and verifiable. Utilized Rust for implementation and demonstrated skills in bug fixing and code refactoring.
