During August 2025, Bernhard Brandstetter enhanced the FH-Complete/FHC-Core repository by implementing environment-specific extension route loading in PHP. He designed the backend logic to search for extension routes not only in the default configuration directory but also within environment-specific subdirectories, such as application/config/production/extensions. This approach linked routing behavior directly to deployment environments, allowing for more flexible and maintainable route definitions. By focusing on backend development and configuration management, Bernhard addressed the need for deployment-tailored routing, reducing the risk of post-deployment issues. The work demonstrated a targeted solution to environment-based configuration challenges, though it was limited in scope to a single feature.
