Worked on the keycloak/keycloak repository to deliver both a new feature and a bug fix focused on SAML integration and UI reliability. Developed a method for SAML Service Provider Metadata Customization, enabling more flexible SAML configurations and supporting diverse enterprise authentication needs. Addressed a UI issue by improving parameter handling, specifically resolving silent failures caused by read-only maps for path parameters, which enhanced error handling and user experience. Utilized Java for both back end development and UI improvements, applying skills in error handling and SAML protocol implementation. The work contributed to measurable product quality improvements within a focused development period.
