Worked on the nl-design-system/rijkshuisstijl-community repository to deliver a Language Navigation Accessibility Enhancement focused on improving WCAG compliance and readability for multilingual users. The work involved updating the selected background color in the language switcher to #2244, increasing contrast and supporting better accessibility across locales. Using CSS and SCSS, the enhancement was implemented in a single, focused commit with co-authorship, ensuring clear traceability. The update strengthened accessibility patterns within the design system, providing a foundation for future localization features. No bugs were addressed during this period, and the work demonstrated attention to detail in front end development and accessibility best practices.
