Worked on stability improvements for the dotnet/aspire repository, focusing on the Aspire CLI and AppHost lifecycle. Addressed a bug where the CLI could hang if defaultWatchEnabled was active and a build failed, implementing a pre-build enforcement mechanism to surface errors early and prevent idle states. Refactored the AppHost preparation logic to streamline the RunAsync flow, reducing complexity and improving maintainability. Updated lifecycle documentation to clarify behavior and tradeoffs for developers. Utilized C# and asynchronous programming techniques, along with unit testing and CLI development skills, to enhance reliability, accelerate feedback on failures, and create a clearer developer experience.
