Worked on the Altinity/clickhouse-regression repository to improve downgrade path reliability by addressing a known failure when downgrading from version 25.8 to 25.3, specifically resolving an error related to loading system log tables. The approach involved thorough bug tracking and updating Markdown-based documentation to reflect the fix, ensuring users have accurate guidance. Outdated entries in the knowledge base were removed to prevent confusion, and all changes were made with careful version control and commit traceability. This work enhanced release management processes and reduced downgrade risks, contributing to better maintainability and increased user trust in the documented downgrade procedures.
