Developed and contributed a new Sophos XGS 118 Firewall Device Type to the netbox-community/devicetype-library repository, focusing on accurate modeling of ports, power, and physical attributes using YAML. This work standardized the representation of Sophos XGS-118 devices within NetBox, supporting consistent asset tracking and streamlined provisioning processes. The implementation emphasized device configuration best practices and network security considerations, ensuring that inventory reporting and onboarding workflows are both efficient and reliable. Collaboration was demonstrated through a co-authored feature commit, reflecting attention to code quality and shared knowledge. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery.
