During March 2025, Better Rus developed a feature for the cloudflare/workers-sdk repository that enhanced deployment traceability for Wrangler Pages. By adding a Deployment ID to the deployments list JSON output, Better enabled unique identification of deployments, which supports improved scripting, automation, and CI/CD workflows. The implementation was completed in TypeScript within the deployments.ts module and thoroughly documented through a changeset. Leveraging skills in CLI development and Cloudflare Workers, Better’s work addressed the need for more robust monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities. The feature’s focused scope demonstrated a clear understanding of deployment automation requirements, though the contribution was limited to a single feature.
