During December 2025, Balaji Sundararajan enabled scalable large-file processing by integrating the scirs2-series library into both the facebook/dotslash and facebook/pyrefly repositories. This work focused on improving data throughput and user experience for substantial datasets by introducing efficient file handling and processing capabilities. Using Python, Balaji established cross-repository consistency for large-file workflows, demonstrating practical skills in data management, library integration, and code review. The features delivered laid the foundation for more robust and scalable data pipelines, addressing the technical challenge of handling large files and ensuring both repositories could support higher data volumes without compromising performance or maintainability.
