February 2026 (openshift/release) monthly summary: Delivered DAS Testing Schedule Optimization to cut GPU quota pressure and CI infra costs while preserving coverage. Restricted pre-merge DAS testing to the latest supported OpenShift Container Platform versions and migrated older versions to periodic runs, with scheduling refinements that significantly reduced resource usage. Key scheduling changes included 4.18 variants run twice weekly (Mon/Thu 12:00 AM for e2e-bundle-periodic and Tue/Fri 4:00 AM for e2e-bundle-runc-periodic) and 4.19 variants run daily with staggered times (8:00 AM / 12:00 PM). Collaboration with Bhargavi Gudi (co-authored-by) ensured robust implementation and traceability. Result: lower CI infra costs and GPU quota pressure while maintaining coverage, improving test reliability and aligning with the release lifecycle.
