During April 2025, Bienz focused on optimizing the DistributorPlan initialization process in the trilinos/Trilinos repository. By reusing an existing temporary plan and removing a redundant createFromSends call, Bienz streamlined the setup, reducing startup time and CPU usage while eliminating unnecessary computations.
