Worked on the pestphp/pest-plugin-browser repository to enhance the reliability of browser-based screenshot tests in PHP projects. Addressed a persistent issue with cross-OS inconsistencies by restricting screenshot comparison checks to macOS, thereby reducing flaky results in CI/CD pipelines. This targeted bug fix leveraged browser automation and PHPUnit testing skills to isolate rendering differences without disrupting the broader testing strategy for other platforms. By focusing the comparison logic on macOS, the work improved determinism in UI test outcomes and lowered maintenance overhead for test failures, while maintaining flexibility for future cross-OS adjustments within the existing automated testing framework.
