Bijunda developed multi-touch support with gesture recognition for the EVDEV driver in the lvgl/lvgl repository, enabling Linux touch devices to interpret multiple simultaneous inputs and complex gestures. Working in C, Bijunda focused on embedded systems and driver development, implementing robust input handling to track multiple touch points and recognize gestures such as pinch and swipe. This addition improved device compatibility and streamlined the integration process for hardware teams adopting LVGL-based user interfaces. The work addressed the need for modern touch interaction in embedded environments, delivering a well-integrated feature that enhances user experience without introducing regressions or unresolved bugs.
