Developed and integrated mobile deep linking and URL handling for the leather-io/mono repository, focusing on improving content accessibility and user re-engagement within the app. Leveraged React Native, Expo, and TypeScript to implement App Links and Universal Links, enabling users to open specific content directly from external web links. Introduced a custom URL handling hook that routes incoming links, such as those from connect.leather.io, to the app’s in-app browser component, streamlining navigation and reducing user friction. The work established a robust foundation for seamless in-app navigation, with clear traceability and a focus on cross-platform mobile development best practices.
