Bingran enabled the Gradle configuration cache by adding the '--configuration-cache' argument and removing previous explicit disabling, allowing Gradle to reuse cached configurations across test runs. This change targeted reduced CI and build times, directly addressing performance bottlenecks in the testing workflow. The work involved close attention to build automation and coordination with future caching strategies, utilizing Kotlin and Gradle as core technologies.
