During November 2025, Lol Smail upgraded the Ton Extension to version 0.3.1 within the zed-industries/extensions repository, focusing on enhancing Windows compatibility and introducing support for the Tolk language. This work involved updating the extensions API to better handle Windows workloads and refining language processing capabilities. Lol also refreshed the Tree-sitter integration to improve code navigation and syntax highlighting for Tolk, ensuring a smoother development experience. The project leveraged skills in API integration, Windows support, and extension development, with TOML as a primary language. The work demonstrated targeted improvements, addressing cross-platform needs and language extensibility within a focused feature scope.
