He implemented a persistent footer link to ensure users could easily access privacy information throughout the application. Using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, Birk structured the new page to clearly communicate data-handling practices, supporting compliance and user trust. The work emphasized maintainability and traceability by consolidating changes into a single, well-documented commit. While the scope was limited to one feature and no bugs were addressed, the solution provided a focused improvement to the app’s user experience and compliance.
