Worked on the Guardian repository at Gopher-Industries, focusing on backend development and password management using Kotlin. Developed and integrated a password validation policy enhancement that enforces strict security requirements, including length constraints and character composition rules. The implementation ensures passwords must be between eight and sixteen characters, containing uppercase and lowercase letters, digits, and a special character from a predefined set. This update improved the authentication module’s security posture and policy compliance, reducing the risk of weak passwords. Additionally, performed targeted code refactoring in Password.kt to enhance readability and maintainability, demonstrating attention to both security and code quality.
