Worked on the schollz/croc repository to enhance clipboard compatibility across Linux environments by implementing a targeted feature in Go focused on backend development. Addressed cross-environment clipboard behavior by ensuring the xsel check executes specifically within the X11/Xorg block, which reduced environment-specific clipboard failures during file transfers. This approach improved reliability for users operating in diverse Linux setups and streamlined the clipboard copy path for xsel. Delivered the enhancement as a focused, low-risk patch with clear commit messaging, contributing to maintainability and traceability within the codebase. The work demonstrated attention to cross-platform issues and careful integration with existing backend logic.
