Worked on enhancing network configuration within the google/syzkaller repository, focusing on improving EC2 root filesystem compatibility with a broader range of network interfaces. Addressed previous limitations by removing a driver-match constraint, enabling support for additional NIC types such as virtio-net. Used shell scripting and system administration skills to ensure DHCP was enabled across all interfaces during fuzzing, which improved network behavior consistency and reduced the need for manual adjustments. The work increased test coverage and reliability for fuzzing in EC2 environments, with all changes traceable through specific commits. The project primarily leveraged networking configuration and shell scripting expertise.
