Worked on internationalizing the YouTube Music desktop application by delivering a comprehensive German localization update in the th-ch/youtube-music repository. Focused on enhancing accessibility and user experience for German-speaking users, the work involved translating all 463 interface strings using JSON and managing the process through Weblate. Established an end-to-end localization workflow that not only ensured full German language coverage but also laid the foundation for supporting additional languages in future development cycles. Emphasized i18n, localization, and translation best practices, resulting in a scalable approach that improves product reach and prepares the application for broader international adoption without introducing new bugs.
