Worked on improving the development workflow for the immich-app/immich repository by enabling seamless plugin development and reducing setup friction. Focused on ensuring that the @immich/plugin-sdk could be reliably installed and built within the development environment, this work involved updating the dev container configuration to support reproducible builds and plugin imports. Leveraged containerization, DevOps practices, and shell scripting to streamline onboarding for plugin developers, minimizing errors during setup. The changes addressed a key pain point in the developer experience by making the environment more predictable and easier to use, ultimately supporting more efficient plugin development and integration within the project.
