Worked on the SonarSource/sonarqube-scan-action repository to deliver an automated, non-interactive SonarScanner installation process tailored for CI/CD pipelines. Addressed the challenge of interactive prompts during installation by updating the Shell scripting logic to force the unzip command to overwrite existing files, ensuring idempotent and unattended deployments. This approach eliminated manual intervention and reduced CI failures, resulting in more reliable and repeatable automation. Leveraged skills in CI/CD and scripting to improve deployment consistency across environments, enabling faster feedback cycles and simplifying onboarding for new contributors. The work focused on robust automation and streamlined workflows using Shell scripting techniques.
