Worked on the DataDog/dd-sdk-ios repository to deliver a configurable version parameter within DatadogConfiguration, supporting Unified Service Tagging for iOS applications. This involved updating the configuration schema and refactoring related components to enhance flexibility and usability in the tagging flow. The approach included expanding unit tests to ensure compatibility with existing tagging mechanisms and to validate the new parameter’s integration. Using Swift and established iOS development practices, the work aligned with the roadmap to improve environment-level configurability, enabling faster rollouts and easier experimentation across deployments. No major bugs were reported, reflecting a focused and well-tested feature implementation.
