Worked on the DuendeSoftware/foss repository to enhance the reliability and security of the DPoP authentication flow. Addressed a critical bug by implementing a case-insensitive lookup for the DPoP nonce header, ensuring consistent retrieval regardless of header casing in HTTP responses. This backend improvement, developed using C# and leveraging API integration skills, reduced edge-case failures and improved interoperability with diverse client implementations. The solution focused on robust HTTP header handling and security-focused bug resolution, resulting in a more stable authentication pipeline. The work demonstrated attention to detail in backend development and contributed to a smoother developer experience for API consumers.
