During January 2026, BlueRain delivered full Simplified Chinese localization for the 86Box/86Box repository, enabling a comprehensive experience for Chinese-speaking users. BlueRain managed end-to-end translation of user-facing strings and localization metadata, utilizing PO files and the Weblate platform to streamline the workflow. The work focused on implementing robust internationalization and localization infrastructure, ensuring accurate language coverage and future scalability. No bug fixes were required, as the primary goal was to establish a solid foundation for multilingual support.
