Bibhudatta Tripathy developed a no-scan mode for the intel/cve-bin-tool repository, enabling users to generate product inventories and reports without running vulnerability scans. This feature required updates to CLI parsing, initialization routines, and output messaging, allowing the tool to operate in inventory mode when full CVE analysis was unnecessary. Using Python and JSON, Bibhudatta also stabilized the test suite by introducing CSAF VEX and SBOM data, refactoring test outputs, and cleaning up temporary artifacts to ensure reliable CI/CD workflows. The work improved repository hygiene, reduced report cycle times, and established a solid foundation for future vulnerability analysis enhancements.
