Developed and integrated a FastVM provider for the xlang-ai/OSWorld repository, focusing on enhancing deployment workflows and reducing restore times for virtual machine snapshots. Leveraged Python and Bash to implement provider, manager, client, and configuration components, aligning the architecture with existing AWS-based solutions. The work included optimizing performance, achieving rapid warm restores and streamlined cold-boot processes, and validating reliability through end-to-end testing against the FastVM API. Emphasized developer ergonomics by supporting v6-only guest environments and proposing improvements for public snapshot management. Collaborated across teams to ensure robust SDK integration, thorough documentation, and repeatable workflows in cloud computing environments.
