Worked on the MicrosoftEdge/MSEdgeExplainers repository to deliver a new explainer for the WebAuthn remoteClientDataJSON extension, targeting improved authentication flows in remote desktop scenarios. Addressed signature verification issues by enabling remote desktop clients to pass the complete clientDataJSON string through to the browser, aligning with ongoing WebAuthn specification changes. The work included both JavaScript code contributions and Markdown documentation updates, ensuring the new extension was clearly documented and discoverable in the project’s README. Demonstrated a disciplined approach by coordinating code, documentation, and cross-repository references, focusing on API development and web development best practices throughout the feature’s implementation.
